Alara = eyeball planet of some kind
plantdemic on home planet of Ak Ana forces civ to seek out replacements -- 
their genetic modification went a lil too far, killed off most all their plant life --
super elite fled to other planets entirely, while some begin a sort of nomadic research lifestyle trying to resurrect their once great civ.

Sfaal tries to take this system over - is a buffer zone between aggressive civs - as situation worsens, Sfaal offers assistance to this civ 
and says ur ppl gotta come here and work with us. really just a play to enter this buffer zone and incites the war (tm)
